Saturday I spoke with multiple teams involved in the Philly game jam. One of the teams called “DUI” (Developing Under the Influence) working on a game called Zeal. When asked “how long they have been working so far?”, they explained that with no sleep, about 20 hours straight. The group also let us in on some of the software they are using to develop this game such as: coding in Angel, art in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, music and sound using Garage Band.
The game itself was explained as a “open, battle flow control game, where two players from opposing castles will have to go and destroy each other by maneuvering around the other players.” The games are due around 11 am today so we will be proving video and more pictures and interviews during the event.
