
I know everybody is really anxious for the MAGFest coverage, and we’ve started uploading some videos to our Youtube channel already if you’d like to watch them, but I thought it was important to hurry and get the news out about Gigacon.
Gigacon is a brand new media art convention for 3D modelers, animators, effects artists, and game artists. There will be a bunch of guest speakers running seminars. Two of the guests – Hilda Torres and Bakia Parker – are on the development team for a game called Code Orange 2, which is meant to train hospital staff on how to deal with challenging situations. This is a great event for anybody who is looking to start a game development career in the 3D modeling or art departments.
