Betascape: Event Schedule for Friday
Betascape Technology Exhibits

Robot Fest
Robotfest, which is for all ages, presents some of the most interesting robots from their recent festival. Robots will include bots that draw their power from the sun and produce art without human intervention and robots that are used by the military to diffuse explosives.
3D ShapeShot
For the first time, digital cameras combined with special software take split-second ShapeShots of faces with amazingly accurate shape and color. Exhibit sponsor Direct Dimensions will be featuring live demonstrations taking 3D ShapeShots of attendees who visit the Betascape Tent.
Live stream of Betascape
Mark Huson of Baltimore Node and Steve Hulbert will be to be live stream Betascape and Artscape using a USB fishing pole camera.
Interactive Sculpture & workshops sponsored by Digital Media Center
Sound artist, Rose Burt and sculptor, Bonnie Crawford Kotula collaborate to create a sculpture that combines interactive circuits, textiles, and sound. Alongside their sculpture, the artists will offer hands-on workshops exploring soft circuitry. These workshops are sponsored by the Digital Media Center at Johns Hopkins University.
Dear Baltimore
Dear Baltimore is a for profit/social good photography company that shoots messages of love and hope, happiness and creativity. Their flagship theme is “Love Notes to Baltimore” and they shoot events for companies and people who believe too that a simple message and a beautiful face inspire us all.
BetaScape Arcade and Video Game Showcase
Innovate Baltimore is bringing together individuals and educational institutions across Maryland to showcase their video games. Attendees can get out of the heat and demo these locally created video games or play arcade favorites like Donkey Kong, Pac-man, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs. Capcom, and King of Fighters.
RepRap
Brian Dolge will be showing the latest in RepRap technology, including a working MakerBot- come see how DIY 3D printing works for yourself. RepRap is a free desktop 3D printer capable of printing plastic objects.
