Betascape! Betascape! Gamers and tech folk alike will know Betascape. This year the Artscape board announced that they are interested in adding a new gaming and tech component to Artscape. The goal of Betascape is to create a national technology event where high level discussion and interactive applications of innovative technologies compliment the thriving Artscape 3-day festival in downtown Baltimore. Artscape from year to year surpasses the mark of 350,000+ attendees, making it the nations largest art festival. This marks another great day for the gaming community as again we see how the industry is being recognized for its continued growth and mainstream appeal.
On a very short notice, a few of Baltimore’s best entrepreneurs and great minds sat down and wrote up a proposal to be approved by the board on Monday. On Tuesday it was approved and now Betascape will happen. BaltimoreGamer.com is proud to announce we will be on the supporting companies list and have our hands involved in the gaming section. Also I Gabriel will be part of the board of advisers deciding events and more. Early suggestions are a 48 hour Game Jam, guest speaker panels, live 2d/3d artist showing off work, and video game demo booths. Also this is just a rumor…but we could see some live vidProxy-Connection: keep-alive
