Innovate Baltimore has partnered with BmoreSmart and local technologists to organize Betascape, a 3 day showcase of innovative technology at Artscape. For our part, Innovate Baltimore is bringing both the video games and the party. Starting Friday at 2pm, we will be curating a Video Game Showcase inside MICA’s Fox Hall. It will feature locally created video games, as well as, classic arcade favorites. So come by and get your game on!
Saturday night, we are hosting the inaugural Geek Chic, a new series of social events for Baltimore area geeks. We have partnered with Magfest to bring together 3 epic video game coverbands. Drink, rock out, and play classic arcade machines all night long at the Load of Fun Theatre on Saturday, July 17th, from 10pm – 4am. Our lineup includes DJ Cutman, Rare Candy, Entertainment System, and the X-Hunters. When everyone else is closed, we’ll still be serving alcohol until 4am!
