A Preview of Tigercon 2011

News That Should Not be Forgotten: The Father of the Modern Video Game Console, Gerald “Jerry” Lawson, Has Died at the Age of 70 in a California Hospital.
Lawson was the designer of the Channel F, a 1976 videogame console utilizing the cartridge system. This console predated the Atari by a year. Lawson’s design was the first game console to utilize interchangeable game cartridges.
