I moved to catonsville last june and now i live in little italy. I noticed the gamer scene has almost died here in Bmore, with over 5 game centers closing in the last 3 years.
I am looking for gamers to 360Lan with… I used ot host pizza nights at my house ever 2 weeks in Florida… I even have a 1981 DonkeyKong Jr.
Theres goto be gamers out there….

Hey David,
Go to see you posting on the site! One of the things we want to do is help organize tournaments and huge LAN parties. So with that said we would like to hear back from you and maybe we can provide you with more information on how to find gamers and more. If you ever get a event going we can post it on our calender also.

Gab: what info do you need from me? Like i said i am new to the area, so I would much rather find an event, than try to start one.

I found a LAN party for you, but unfortunately it is the same 3 days as GameX, so you can't go to both. If you weren't going to go to GameX, then maybe this is just what you were looking for.

I've added the event to the calendar and sent an email to them seeing if I can get more info

The Baltimorer Gamers Alliance is a little bit more up your alley, I have met and know the guys and they are very cool, their website is http://www.bgalan.com they lean more to consoles then PC gaming. I use to be a regular at marylandlangamers its a good group of people but now run my own little LAN in annapolis http://www.annapolislan.com, we were contacted by you guys and here we are. Baltimore does have a good gaming scene its just caught up between difftrent groups, also inside gamers throws a good LAN to, check them out at http://www.beta.insidegamers.com/

I've tried several times to get in touch with Baltimore Gamers Alliance, but to no avail. If you could get me in contact with them that would be great!
I think I also recently tried contacting annapolislan, so if you were contacted by us that was probably me.

I am begining to think the BGA is deador dieing. I sent a forum register request last month, it still awaiting a proval. I sent another last night, let see if this get done any faster.
inside gamers doesnt even allow for new members anymore.
I think there might be a lot of gamers here in MD, but i am begining to think that they prefer XBL over Lans.

New to this site, but in a similar situation as DavidSKi. Always looking for people to play with in the realm of console games. And curious about game oriented gatherings in the Bmore area.
Anyone who wants to can feel free to add me on XBL or PSN.

Try contacting Jim Perry about his xbox lan party on saturday. I think the party was intended for IGDA members, but it can't hurt to ask. I've emailed him for more information about the party.

Also, the next weekend there is a LAN party in Greenbelt which will *probably* have 360s, but they are focused on PCs. http://www.marylandlangamers.n…../rsvp.html
We are hoping to start hosting official BaltimoreGamer events. Gabe and I are working out details to try and get something figured out. Once we have set a date and venue we will let everybody know.

It was intended for people in the Baltimore area and the Baltimore chapter of the IGDA was the only place I knew to post.
I'd love to see more Baltimoreans get together.
