This thread is for vendors from MAGFest to discuss how everything went. Talk about your sales, talk about what you liked and didn't like, or discuss strategies with other vendors. Anything you want, but talk about something!

I promised I'd swing by and here I am!
Mike and Gabe, it was most excellent to meet y'all at MAGFest. We had an amazing time and were surprised and delighted by the super-efficient, super-friendly, and super-encouraging MAGFest staff. We'd go back next year for the staff alone! But the attendees rocked, the music was amazing, and arcade was epic. (Also, I learned how to select Roll as a character for the Marvel Vs. Capcom cabinet XD).
We did well in sales also. We'd heard that vendor-wise, MAGFest was luke-warm. Yet, this year apparently attendance spiked, and everyone was hot for commissions, books, and prints.
Our site's game developer was in heaven. He spent most of the weekend talking with other indie game designers and musicians.
We're DEFINITELY going back next year!
I'm putting together that information on Giga-Con like I promised. There appear to be a fair number of guests and speakers who focus on three-D modelling for games/demos/training sims. It's short notice, but it's local. :)

Thanks for all the info! I've added Gigacon to the calendar and I'll work on getting some material out shortly! Right now I'm bogged down with a lot of editing, and getting ready to upload a few videos to Youtube.
As far as our "vendor" experience, we did great. Of course we weren't selling anything, but we talked with a lot of people and did some great networking with other vendors.

Hey, Thanks for stopping by and we had a blast also! Everyone was in the greatest of moods and all the vendors were nice and wanted to network. Meeting the people at magfest and talking about games made it the best experience. Hoping we can collaborate with all the vendors and help them and they help us build a strong friendship.
