GDC Student Scholarships 2011
The IGDA will be awarding 25 scholarships for this years Game Developers Conference. GDC is where game development professionals gather to share ideas and build the skills that the industry needs. Located in San Francisco, California, this year’s GDC will be held February 28th – March 4th 2011.

University of Maryland’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra
COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The University of Maryland’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra, the country’s premiere collegiate ensemble dedicated to playing video game music, will treat fans of video game music to its fifth annual fall concert. The show will be held on December 11th at 2 p.m. in the Smith Center’s Dekelboum Concert Hall.
