CCBC Game Development Club Invite Firaxis and Zynga East to LAN Party

Every semester the CCBC Game Developer’s Club invite speakers from the games industry to come in and share their knowledge and experience. On March 18th, we have invited Tronster Hartley, UI Programmer at Firaxis and El Medina 2D Animator/Artist at Zynga East to speak on a mix of game design, art and flash programming techniques.

Video Games Live Comes to Maryland

University of Maryland’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The University of Maryland’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra, the country’s premiere collegiate ensemble dedicated to playing video game music, will treat fans of video game music to its fifth annual fall concert. The show will be held on December 11th at 2 p.m. in the Smith Center’s Dekelboum Concert Hall.
